The Fontana Group is a great international reality in the market of high quality fastener production and trade, with a major role in Europe, it is one of the most important manufacturers in the fastener industry world-wide.
The Group includes 15 production plants based in Europe and in the United States, as well as a sales organization in all continents, which employs more than 2,500 people. Every year, over 200,000 tons of finished products exit the Group’s plants. They correspond to about 10 billion pieces of standard and custom special parts in diameters ranging from 2.5 to 33 mm. and lengths from 3 to 500 mm.
The Group’s turnover consists of 30% products destined to the domestic market, and 70% of sales addressed to the international markets. 80% of the overall Group production is addressed to the automotive market and its subcontractors, while the remaining 20% is reserved to distributors. As well as the traditional brand “Fontana Luigi”, the Group gathers other prestigious brand names of the Italian fastener industry, such as Lobo, I.B.S., Bulloneria Barge, MeridBulloni, Bulloneria Briantea. In addition, the Fontana Group can rely on a widespread presence in Europe, in North and South America, in Asia and in the Far East through its sales and distribution network, “Fontana Fasteners”, locally focused on the automotive, industrial and distribution sectors.

The Group is managed by a holding company, which establishes the strategies to be pursued and put into effect, and is based in the new premises of Veduggio, which was opened on the occasion of the celebrations for the first 50 years of activity of the parent company, Fontana Luigi.
