Based in Veduggio in Italy, the headquarters of Fontana Gruppo are the center of innovation. In particular, the laboratory is the heart of R&D, the place for connecting ideas and production. The laboratories are equipped with technology and instruments that allow numerous experiments: from the simple durometer to the quantometer for chemical analysis, right up to the electron scanning microscope. In this way it is possible to analyse and develop all phases of product development, from raw materials to testing and the production processes.
From the objectives of experiments carried out in the company’s internal laboratories, of numerous designs, computer simulation and intensive discussion sessions with customers, also features the development of new production processes that are able to generate significant results for increasing quality and reducing costs.
